GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING

The Guidance and Counselling Center offers a comprehensive and responsive program designed to help the students facilitate their personal/social, academic and career development. It also assist them to gain self-understanding of their personalities, capabilities, interests, skills and aptitude to optimize their potentials. It aims to help the students to have a holistic approach in facing the complexity of modern life.

The Moulder

THE MOULDER

The Moulder Publications is the official student Publication of Metro Manila College that promotes freedom of expression and balance information. The publication serves as a medium to develop the students’ political consciousness that will help transform their journalistic writing skills.

The Moulder Publications shall have the following objectives: 
    • to serve as purveyor of truthy by presenting in-depth, substantial and information for the advancement of students’ rights and welfare;
    • to offer an effective and meaningful avenue potent means to influence, inspire, develop and mold students’ opinion and views on vital issues and concerns on and off campus;
    • to uphold the standards and ethics of journalism;
    • to advocate social consciousness and to uphold the interests of the Filipino people;
    • to disseminate vital and relevant information that concerns the students and the university;
    • to pose unity, camaraderie, and cooperation among the student for better understanding of their duties and responsibilities, pertinent to attainment of education end. These objectives shall be the bases of our judgement, guiding principles and an overt target to meet and ponder with;
    • to participate in the struggles of other campus papers and the mainstream media for a free press.

 

Health Services

THE HEALTH SERVICES DEPARTMENT

Goal

The Health Services Department will be a vital partner of this institution in the delivery of excellent health care by being efficient and skilled in rendering holistic medical, dental and nursing care.

Objective

To equip the medical, dental and nursing staff with ample knowledge and utmost skills which they in turn could apply clinically to each and every single member of the school citizenry with acumen and utmost confidence.

Sports

SPORTS DEVELOPMENT OFFICE

The Sports Development Office (SDO) is responsible for the development and implementation of Metro Manila College’s sports programs. The SDO aims to oversee and promote a healthy lifestyle through recreational activities to the students, faculty, and staff.  

 

The SDO is in charge of the introduction and functioning of sports within the MMC community to incorporate more physical activities and competitive sports within and outside the campus.

Vision

The Office of Student Affairs bolsters its commitment in providing the students with the support system that would enable them to realize their leadership potentials and home their inherent skills. It endeavors to offer the opportunities for legitimate expression of their talents and co-curricular intelligence gifts, thus enabling to emerge as persons with dignity and self-confidence.

Mission

Office of Student Affairs commits itself to the full development of learners by providing an array of academic-support programs and services that would develop the students to be competent & responsible citizens.

Objectives  

The OSA is an academic support office that works for the development of MMC students, particularly on areas concerning student organizations, athletics, civic works, cultural arts and developing leaders.

 It works for a humane in the campus, gives opportunity for extra – curricular programs and services and enhance the leadership skills of students. Through varied programs and activities, the OSA helps to the realization of Vision – Mission of Metro Manila College in molding students to be socially concerned individuals and achievers in the service of God and country.

Student Welfare and Services

           

The Office of  Student Affairs (OSA), headed by the Director for Student Affairs, provides students with the support system that would help them to realize their potentials and hone their skills.

 

The OSA administers, coordinates and supervises matters within the context of student affairs work. It implements the school’s requirements, programs, policies, rules and regulations such as uniform, ID card as well as student activities and welfare are concerned.

 

This department is meant to guide the Metro Manila College’s Educators, Community organizers, Community leaders, Volunteers and Students in creating and implementing community development project that suit its recipient according to the services that the implementers can do. This is intended to serve the sidelined members of the community and to work hand –in-hand with other agencies in the delivery of community services to its partner community.

 

Further to serve as an inspiration to the volunteer group of the College who seeks high spirit in extending assistance to the sidelined members of the community.

These are programs and activities offered by the Office of Student Affairs to facilitate the delivery of essential services to the students that include Admission, Scholarship and Financial Assistance, Food, Health, Security and Safety, Multi-faith and services for student with special needs and other program such as: culture and arts, sports, social and community involvement.
