In 2018, the PRC through the CPD Council on Criminology issued Certificate of Accreditation (Accreditation Number 2018-024) to Metro Manila College as CPD Provider in Criminology. The accreditation has made Metro Manila College as the first private higher educational institution in the National Capital Region (entire Metro Manila) to be accredited by PRC as CPD provider in criminology.

For two years period, the MMC was able to conduct six (6) seminar-workshops, four (4) were held at MMC, Novaliches, Quezon City, one in Ilagan City, Isabela and another one in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. The accredited CPD programs for criminology, the Seminar-Workshop on Criminological Perspective of Radicalization and Violent Extremism and the Seminar-Workshop on Incident Commanders' Course for Criminologists were credited with 12 CPD units for each program. Under the law, criminologists need an aggregate of 30 CPD units for PRC license renewal.

The CPD Council for Professional Teachers of the PRC issued certificate of accreditation (PRC Accreditation Number PTR-2019-310) to Metro Manila College as CPD provider for teachers.

On October 5, 2019, the MMC was able to conduct the first ever PRC-accredited Seminar-Workshop on Capacity Building on Action Research for Teachers for professional teachers which attended by 224 participants. A certificate of attendance with a credit of 12 CPD units is given to all who successfully completed the activity.

For 2021, the Center for Continuing Professional Development (CCPD) of Metro Manila College, a special unit organized under the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs tasked to supervise and monitor CPD programs, will roll out massive open online courses (MOOC) for CPD through webinars using various online platforms such as Zoom and Google.
