Bachelor of Science in Psychology

The Bachelor of Science in Psychology program is designed to provide students a scientific study of human behavior and mental processes. The program prepares students to use psychology theories, concepts, and principles in research and applied practice of psychology in the field of clinical, educational and industrial settings.

Vision

The College of Psychology is a top performing program that produces globally competitive Psychology Practitioners that will contribute in the advancement of Psychology as scientific study in the field of clinical, educational, and industrial setting imbued with highest ethical principles and Christian values.

Mission

The College of Psychology is committed in holistic development of students on scientific study of psychology for the service of God and country through excellent curriculum, modern laboratory tools and instruments, state of the art facilities, and competent faculty members.

Program Intended Learning Objective (PILO)

At the end of the Program, the BS Psychology students must be able to:

    1. Demonstrate the capability to discuss and analyze the major theories and concepts in psychology (knowledge in psychology).
    2. Demonstrate and apply the methods of psychological inquiry in building knowledge on local culture and context (psychological research).
    3. Demonstrate and apply psychological theories and methods in personal and professional setting (application of psychology).
    4. Demonstrate capability for self-reflection and independent learning in graduate education or in professional context (independent learning).
    5. Demonstrate professional and ethical behaviors in research and practice in Psychology
      (ethics).
    6. Demonstrate harmonious interpersonal relationship with colleagues, clients and others (interpersonal skills) in diverse cultural setting.
    7. Demonstrate the ability to conduct psychological assessments and evaluation (psychological assessment).
