
BASIC EDUCATION
Kinder 1 - Kinder 2
Learners at this stage are fond of playing, singing, and doing practical activities such as drawing and social interactions. They seek acceptance from their friends and need a positive self- image. With this in mind, the Preschool curriculum provides activities to help develop the learners’ socialization skills. Aside from writing, and mathematics as part of the transition from home to school, basic computer skills such as practicing their hands in using the mouse and how to open the computer are also done. Storytelling is a part of the classroom routine as it boosts the self-confidence of the learners. They are also train to develop self-reliance by letting them do different simple tasks like fixing their own things after using them. Learning is both fun and meaningful for Kinder 1 and Kinder 2 learners.
Grade 1 - Grade 6
The Elementary School is committed to provide the learners a learning environment that is conducive and productive for the teaching-learning processes. This will develop their potentials and skills to enrich their Christian way of life. Aside from the prescribed curriculum, ample opportunities to participate in academic, social, cultural, spiritual, and artistic pursuits are also available through the different events that the school holds.
Grade 7 - Grade 10
The Metro Manila College – Junior High School formerly known as the Novaliches Academy is one of the pioneer schools in Novaliches. As one of the leading schools in Novaliches, it provides quality education for its students. At the Junior High School Level, the school ensures to develop the learners’ critical thinking, social and leadership skills which are essential for 21 st century learners. While they develop such skills, the school also promotes Christian values and nationalism making them morally upright and humane individuals. In order t develop their life skills, students have specialized programs in Computer Hardware Servicing and Housekeeping for Grades 9-10 where they could apply for National Certificate II. Interest clubs like Campus Journalism, MathSci Club, Book Lover Club, and Basketball Varsity are also open to all bonafide students who wanted to be part of the said extra-curricular activities.
Grade 11 - Grade 12
Metro Manila College started offering SHS in 2016 and was already able to have three batches of SHS graduates. The school population in SHS continues to increase as the time goes by. At the present, there are 2, 700 plus students enrolled.
The school offers both Academic and Technical – Vocational tracks namely: Accounting and Business Management (ABM), Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), General Academics (GAs), Home Economics (HE), and Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT).
Aside from the usual core and specialized subjects that the students take, the school has undertaken different activities to ensure their competitiveness and that they are work - ready after graduation. The SHS students have their 80- hour work immersion at the different companies and government agencies depending on their career path. They also have experienced doing and presenting their research, feasibility study, and capstone project depending on their strand.
The school also trains and offers National Competency Assessment (NC II) to the SHS students. Some of the NC Assessments that students can undergo are: Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Event Management, Bartending, and Bookkeeping. These are to ensure that the students are skilled in the event that they decide to work after graduation from SHS.
Many activities are also being held to ensure the whole rounded development of the students. Students will learn and have fun at the same time. The institution also ensures as one of its goals that the students are globally competitive and value laden when they exit the portals of their alma mater.
